Not all is well in the state of Denmark, or rather, in higher education. Students are no longer studying, educators no longer educating, and researchers have turned activist. What were once bulwarks of learning, where young men and women were formed into knowledgeable, well-balanced individuals, have become something else altogether. Freedom of speech and freedom of research have become hollow phrases. Diversity, equity, and inclusion, the unholy trinity of academia, are words devoid of meaning when their opposites are practised: a pensee unique, the oppression of excellence, the exclusion of critical voices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
