The Truth Will Set You Free – Read more

LUX MUNDI is a private foundation that aims to reintroduce classical higher education in Europe — ‘classical’, moreover, in the full sense of the word. From 2026 onward we offer a fully accredited Liberal Arts Bachelor programme, taught in English, teaching a Great Books programme unique to Europe.

Unlike most universities, LUX MUNDI values the spiritual and philosophical foundations of our civilization. We believe that education starts with standing on the shoulders of giants, and that our lives are enriched through learning the great works of our civilization.

At LUX MUNDI, transferring knowledge stays front and centre. Students must study. We are not a diploma factory but strive to deliver well-thought, well-articulated and well-considered young people.

LUX MUNDI believes that classical education should take place in an inspiring environment — not a “bare” factory building that exudes a diploma culture, but a location that (re)connects students with the roots of our civilization.

“Liberal arts learning liberates the learner by bringing him or her into conversations with the greatest thinkers in human history on the most important questions that human beings face—questions of existence, meaning, and value. For those who are willing to wrestle with its challenges, liberal arts education promises the ultimate prizes: wisdom and selfmastery. Because the revival and renewal of liberal arts education is so urgent today, I am heartened by the establishment of Lux Mundi—an institute dedicated to forming young men and women to be determined truth seekers, courageous truth speakers, and lifelong learners.”
